Our Ministry
During the years in which the doors have been open at this interdenominational student outreach, thousands of young people have experienced the joy and blessings of knowing Jesus as Savior and Lord. Incorporated in 1962, Youth For Christ exists to stand beside and complement local church youth group programs by equipping and training Christian students for the cause of Christ.
The staff and volunteers of YFC train and equip tomorrow's leaders for service in their churches, schools and communities. YFC offers students opportunities for spiritual, intellectual and social development, as well as recreational enjoyment through a multifaceted program designed to address today's issues and the needs of area's students.
A full calendar of events is designed to provide ample opportunities for participation at all levels of spiritual growth. In December of 2008, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to found the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center, which has cemented the theater arts as the cornerstone of YFC's training ground. Not only do students and young adults receive a collegiate-level education in theater, music and dance, but every opportunity is taken within the rehearsal process to focus on God's Word through devotional Bible study.
In addition to the theater arts, HCPAC still hosts social activities through LightForce Ministries every Saturday night for students in 6th-12th grades. Family Feasts offer adults and families the opportunity to fellowship over a meal and enjoy quality Christian entertainment monthly.
There is always something happening at the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center. We want you to be involved too! For more information, please explore the information available on this web site, or speak to a member of our staff.
